Why Does Our Sensitivity And Contribution Matter?

While there is a lot of funfilled social media banter backing up this campaign, the cause behind it is very serious. Contrary to popular belief, it is not a movement to promote masculinity and face-fuzz but to create awareness about cancer and how it can happen to anyone. No one is immune to this deadly disease, and any kind of negligence in detecting and treating it can lead to dreadful consequences.

This campaign has been designed to help people realize the intensity of the disease and be sensitive towards those suffering from it. Truth be told, many of us spend a decent amount from our paychecks on personal grooming; and donating a percentage of it to a cause that is so great, once in a year, can be a very fulfilling experience.

Unfortunately, cancer is everywhere and is catching up in number because of the lack of awareness. What’s worse is that it is mutating and evolving and a cause of thousands of premature deaths. While most of us cannot understand the predicaments and plight of those suffering from cancer, the least we can do is be a part of this awareness program and spread the word. It’s not a celebration but a way of supporting those who are battling life daily. No-Shave November is a very small step to show your care, empathy, and compassion towards a cause that needs help from millions across the globe because cancer can be defeated if we keep on talking, learning, understanding, and taking the correct medical care regarding it.
